Thread: What is this Japanese movie called?

It's an old Japanese movie. Made in maybe the 60's or 70's.

About the artist that lived with his mother and locked the girl into his art gallery. I seen this a while back when it was on cable, I cannot remember the name of it.

The artist ended up raping her and had her locked up for so long that she eventually went crazy and didn't want to return to her normal life even when the guy offered to release her. She wanted to stay. At the end dude ended up cutting her limbs off..she actually wanted it...it gave her pleasure.

what is the name of it when you inflict pain for sexual pleasure? Sadomasochism i believe? It had something to do with that, but I'm not sure if that was the exact name of it.

I think it may have started with a B.

I can't believe I liked this movie...this movie is pure art. DEFINITELY not your average movie. It was unique, sick, creepy, and astonishing all at the same time.

And the crazy part is I didn't even watch it from the beginning, I seen this on when I changed the channel, but when I seen this I could not change the channel. It was just too interesting. This is a good movie. I should watch the whole thing.
