It's a small movie by the Jim Henson Company. It has absolutely gorgeous effects and CG animations. I've never seen it... I was poor when I saw it at the store and now I'm having trouble finding it now that I have money. I should order it online... NOW!

Yeah my friends boyfriend made her watch it. Then she loved it and made me watch it. It is a really amazing movie, visually. I like the end where she says something about not being a waiter. And he's all "Hahahaha...what?"

It looks worth a watch. It got a good review on The Internet Movie Database.

EDIT: I watched it today, the acting and animation is great. I prefer animation in the style of Hayao Miyazaki i.e. not computer generated, but it was really well done. Overall a good film. I come from near to where its set.

Niel Gaiman wrote or directed that, right? I saw it, I thought it was okay, but the story did not interest me like I thought it would.

I may have seen part of it. Is it that movie where the kid is having nightmares, and is learning to control his dreams so he can kill the monsters or something? I'll have to watch it sometime.

I worked alongside the main character on a film in luxemburg.
Steph (or stiff as we used to call her) is a really talented actor, and the film is great too.

Obviously it isn't the movie I was thinking of, so I'll have to see it. Maybe I'll get it from the video rental store today. It's 2 for 1 night.

I have this movie. It's very nice. In fact, I haven't seen it in a few years I think I'll watch it tonight.

I saw this ages ago and although visuals are pretty cool I thought alot of the acting, writing and directing was a little amateurish. But overall decent.

(what is with the influx of necroposting...?)

I got this movie I think for christmas last year. it came in a three-pack with The Labyrinth and The Dark Crystal which are two of my favourite movies. I had never seen it or even heard of it before.

it's been a long time since I've watched it so I don't remember too well but I know I generally liked it. it wasn't amazing, some parts were boring but it was pretty interesting overall. I particularly liked the part with the wardrobe robots singing The Carpenter's "Close to You" as they dressed the girl up. it was so creepy, but in a lovely way.

I think I'll watch it when I get home.
