Fastest You Have Read a book

The fastest i have read a book with a decent amount of pages was 2 days.

The fastest was when i read like a 3rd grade level book in an hour.

Wow 2 days, the best I've did is like a month. I'm a slow reader plus I rarely ever read anymore. I have a friend that went through 3 books in less than a week however.

I can't remember if it was New Moon or Eclipse... but I ended up finishing it in about 11 hours.

Wow, I read the unabridged version of the playwright The Phantom of the Opera in one day. I did nothing but read. (I had a school project I procrastinated on.) So I guess I have a good record. I'm not sure about the time since I read the entire time.

That's not a couple of hours.

I didn't count the hours it took, unfortunately, but I've read HP5-7 in one day intervals. I'll just read them again and see how many hours it takes..

A book of 327 pages in 2-3 hours. It was pretty cool, but kind of creepy

I read about a hundred pages an hour, faster if it's lighter reading. So I can finish most decent-sized books in 3-4 hours if I want to retain everything.

I'm always jealous when my sister reads books so fast. She read the newest Dan Brown book in a few hours. I just can't read that fast. I'm a slow-ass reader.

Still, I did read the first Carlos Castaneda book in a day I do believe. I was just captivated by it. I don't think much has come close. It usually takes me fucking AGES to read anything. And I just bought two fairly thick books: House of Leaves and an ethnography called Righteous Dopefiend. They'll take me a while!

If I'm really into a book, I'll read it in about 2 days. If I'm not it can take over a year of continually putting it off .

That's a really good book to read and discuss in school.

Hope you enjoy it, I think it was really great. Absolutely a must read.
