      Splinter Cell: Conviction

So yeah, been playing the demo on the Xbox 360 for awhile now. Really fun. Although, the hardest difficulty doesn't seem very hard (may just be the demo).

It's a lot more fast paced than other Splinter Cells, and as far as I know, you can't knock people out anymore, just kill them. (I can see why Sam Fisher would just want to kill everyone)

I have never beaten a splinter cell game before, don't know why. I'll probably pick this one up some time.

I really like the black and white thing they have going on to tell you that you are hidden. I also like the execute thing. One thing that bugs me though is the reloading. The only time you reload your gun is when you are out of bullets (and the pistol has unlimited ammo I believe), so there's not button to manually reload with.

The demo has a couple of bugs, but it's great. I certainly can not wait for the full game to come out.

Oh yeah! I just remembered I downloaded this awhile ago. I'm going to go play it in a minute.

It looks like its really good. I played and beat the first and Chaos Theory, both were really good and I came close to beating Double Agent. I really didn't like Double Agent though, it seemed like they dumbed it down a lot plus it was kinda boring imo.

I don't know, sometimes I just really get in the mood for a good stealth game.

I would say they dumbed down the stealth in Conviction a bit, but there's a lot to make up for it.

      Ooh, I can't wait!
I've always been some kind of subtype of a Splinter Cell fan, and been playing it online alot!
However, I think there's some curse over the series.

Pandora Tomorrow was awesome to play online, and so was Chaos Theory.
But when I first got Chaos Theory for playstation, I found out that the graphics had been dumbed down, nuked. The screenshots on the backside was like a different game.

And Double Agent screwed everything over. The online gameplay is so different and almost unlike Splinter Cell. I remember that map in Pandora Tomorrow (Or was that CT?) with the 4 towers... And the glitch that let you play as 3 spies...

I hope this one'll be good in it's own ways, though.

Yeah I didn't really like Double Agent's multiplayer.

I thought it was stupid how the PS2's version of multiplayer was way different than the PC's version.

      Oh yes. Oh yes.
I didn't know they did it with DA too, but they seem to fancy the idea of having 2 different games; One for PC and one for PS2.

I remember how dissapointed I was when I put on Chaos Theory on my PS2, expecting those awesome graphics, and what I got was not only worse graphics - But a complete different game.

But then I got it for the PC, and then it was awesome.
And I thought alot of stuff in DA's Multiplayer ruins the feel completely. I mean, the mercenaries get beep sounds when the spies are near... That ruins the entire point of trying to hide.

Just played the demo and I thought it was really fun. The interrogation scene was awesome! I almost want to get the game just to do that more . It didn't seem to have the same feeling of the other SC games, I guess thats cause they took out some of the stealth and put more of a shooter feeling in the game. I may pick this game up if I can get a job in the next week or two.

I could not for the life of me get to the scientist stealthily. I could take out a few but they always discovered me.

Everything is going to be more fast paced than the other Splinter Cells.

Also, if you notice, right before you get to the scientist, you can look behind the bars where they would be standing and they aren't there, but when you go down the tunnel and the camera takes over, they appear there.
