Bad science can. And this is what I was referring to when I made my little side comment that apparently offended people's scientific faith. I wasn't refering to the scientific method. I was refering to the mistake that people make of accepting whatever is in the science book as being truth, just as a religious person would do. It was just a little joke within a more important post. I didn't expect such a huge defensive response by the Scientific Faith.

I suppose you are right. This is why I made the point in my last post to Xei that when he insults people, instead of presenting actual logical points, it is not scientific. Ridiculing an idea BEFORE challenging it is childish. Furthermore, INSULTING an idea AT ANY POINT is childish.

I was never trying to make the point that "Science is dogmatic". I was only making a small pun about how some people practice bad "science".

      However, in this case:

I will make an exception and say "science is dogmatic science is dogmatic science is dogmatic." in order to watch Xei slapping himself in his face.

I think Xei is just having fun but it seems to me you both agree: evidence needs to do the talking.

I appreciate the voice of reason. However, there is a name for someone who has fun belittling others. I will always call someone out on it, especially when a particular person does it... frequently.
