What is most important is the emotions you felt during the dream. I barely take Non-Lucid's serious because they can be so realistic that you may really believe you are a soldier. I often kill people but i don't feel any strong emotion nor is the victim ever someone I know. I would only be surprised if I repeatedly killed someone I knew or I felt intense fear/anger/grief while doing it.
