Trump does not; he seems to only see the job as some new prize, reality show victory, or another place to put his name -- and that is very scarey. More scarey is that Trump is smart enough to work a system that the Republicans (and Fox News) have practically set in place just for him, so there is an excellent chance he could win.
Lots of really bad men have been U.S. Presidents in the past (in fact, the only truly good men I can think of were Ford and Carter, and they didn't do so well); I personally have no problem with assholes being in charge, as long as they do their jobs well and respect the true nature and importance of the position; Trump, I fear, will do neither.
Also, Trump keeps reminding me of Mussolini, which is very disturbing.
It's going to be an interesting year.
