Fascinating indeed... But as much as I'm interested, these are only speculations, right? I mean, some are facts, but I don't think all figures are correct, and as regards the predictions, well they are only that. |

It started out quite boring... I was only expecting random facts... but it got a lot better, especially when I realised it was actually sorta structured. Some interesting stuff in there. |

Am I the only one who feels extremely uncomfortable about all these advances and whatnot? Something just feels really wrong about all of this, I don't want computers to be more capable than the entire human race, I don't want everything to be done for us, I don't want technology to be doubling every 72 hours, and I don't want to know all the secrets of the world and the universe.... Never knowing is what makes life worth living, if you know what's out there, if you know what to expect, and if you know what tomorrow is going to bring, then what's the point? There's no fun in that. |

Hey, I know what you mean. The thing you should remember, though, is that things won't change instantly. Humans will evolve and learn to live with the new technology as it too evolves. In the future, we will be better prepared for such incredible advances. |
