I don't know about you, but I would hate to be in a relationship with someone who never made their own decisions and idolized me. That's a pet, not a partner.
      I agree.

I was just exaggerating to push my point. A tendency that I should probably look into at some point.

Ah, I do that all of the time

In that case, I agree with you. There is definitely a line between 'equal' and 'identical' which should not be crossed - be it gender, race, social status, whatever. Differences need to be acknowledged and embraced, not squashed.

Men have a higher fear/pain tolerance?? That is completely opposite of what I've been hearing all my life.

      O'nus, what are your sources?

I mis-represented that. They are essentially the same.

The point is really that genders are actually more identical than anything. These differences are marginal at best.

My sources come from a plethora of books such as Shaffer, Wood, Pierce J. Howard, Jean-Pierre Changeux, etc.

I am not really arguing anything (unless someone fervently believes that one gender is significantly better at one thing than the other gender). Both sexes are more identical than they are different.

      Good question.

This is just a synonym for covert aggression. For example: "Did you hear that she got a boob-job?! Ew, what a slut!" "I heard she slept with five guys at once! Skank!" "My friend Sarah said that he has a small dick and is impotent, don't date 'em girl!"

      Does that help...?

From what I heard, men can deal better with external physical injuries (cuts, broken bones, bullet wounds, etc) while women can cope better with visceral pains (giving birth, cramps, massive internal bleeding, etc).

As for fear, it's hard to contest that men are generally more fearless/stupid than women...
