Hillary Clinton does not have a sincere bone in her body. She is a wind up political machine just like her husband. Her choking up incident just happens to be exactly what it would take to turn things around for her in the primaries because people thought she had been too cold in the preceding months, so she played the political card she had to play to get ahead. It is how she ticks, and it is how she has always ticked. Her husband is the best at that game there has ever been, and I bet he encouraged her to pull that act.

But that is not to say that other politicians don't do it too. They just have different ways of playing it. I am sure Mitt Romney and Mike Huckabee would do the same thing if they thought it would work, but they know that their potential supporters don't want to see them crying. I know I sure as Hell don't want a president who chokes up over getting behind in an election. Usama Bin Laden and Mahmoud Ahmadenijad aren't going to cry because they can't get their way, and I don't want the person leading the struggle against them to be like that.
How do you know you are not dreaming right now?

Even if it was sincere, I sure as hell don't want a president who can't remain professional in these types of situations. Who knows where else she might do the same. Can you imagine?

I just hope that if she were to become president, she wouldn't let her emotions get in the way of logical decisions.

Not that i'm even from the US... but this is so true. Clinton would be the last candidate I would ever vote for.

To be truthfully honest, everything from the situation, facial expressions, and all things considered, she did seem sincere.
I think most politicians are masters of disguise though.

Even if she was sincere, what she says would hold true in her case too. That other candidates really do want things or have an agenda. So even if her tears were actually real, and she truly feels her agenda is the right one, doesn't mean that it is.

I will sum up what I think of Hillary Clinton crying in two words:

Actually, a big part of President Bill's running power was his sincerity on the whole marijuana issue. He secured millions of young voters by simply telling the truth about something.

I actually couldn't see any crying in the video. She seemed emotional, but then again I have a different perspective on emotional politicians. You may remember Howard Dean running for president and his emotional outburst that probably cost him any chance of it. Well I'm from Vermont and I believe he was sincere and had sincere intentions because I know what kind of things he did for our state. Because of the politicians in Vermont, I tend to try to give the rest of them at least a small benefit of a doubt.

And really UM, try not to be too much of a macho man and say that any sign of emotion is a sign of weakness.

As a Canadian, I think I can view American politics in a truly inbiased way.

Anyways, I think Hillary just wants to get into the White House so she can get her pussy licked under the desk. Y'know, as revenge on Bill? I feel sorry for the poor sucker who ends up doing that...

Are you deliberately missing my points? Sometimes I think you are just a careful troll. I might start having to deal with you the way I deal with Mystic.

Bill Clinton told the truth about his pot use? Are you joking? That used car salesman did not smoke pot but not inhale. More importantly, nobody believed him. So what are you talking about? And I would bet my left leg that he got stoned on a regular basis after seeing what he looked like back then.

I didn't see tears from Hillary, but crying doesn't always result in tears. It can involve the early stages of just being choked up and having voice spasms and so forth. I think it was an act any way.

The issue with Howard Dean's hillbilly scream was not his sincerity. It was that he is a LUNATIC. Get it right.

I never said "any sign of emotion is a sign of weakness". Getting into the early stages of crying because you are behind in the primaries is a sign of weakness. We are trying to elect somebody who will take on the world of nut case Islamofascism suicide for Allah and virgins gigantic death cult. We don't want somebody with the emotions of a fifteen year old cheerleader taking that job. But anger, determination, pride, and other "emotions" are great to have for that job. But Hillary was just putting on a show. So if she was sincere, which she wasn't, she's not qualified for the job. If she was not sincere, she is a sociopath and needs to be sent back to Arkansas.

I am going to be keeping tabs on YOUR sincerity.

Did anyone watch and/or interact with the LIVE MTV Candidate Dialogue involving Barack, Hilary, Huckabee and Ron Paul? It was priceless...Hilary got pwned...hard...in the polls. nearly 80% of the people voting thought "She was slimey" "Untruthful" and would make a horrible president. Not only was this evident in the polls, but the guy checking the polls said at the end "Listen Hilary has been getting very negative feedback tonight and I just want to make it clear that a majority of her supporters are in the older category" a paraphrase of course but you get the idea. Huckabee did horrible in the polls and I laughed at the results, then Obama went on live and He did okay...he did more good than bad in the polls, and then Ron Paul went on...he was obviously the most popular. They showed the polling results on live t.v. and the polls were also updated frequently throughout the live dialogue. Then...Hilary went on...she was late to the dialogue...infact she was so late that they were stalling air time and went about 20 minutes over. She finally arrived and was drinking a cup of coffee while being interviewed...this made the first time voters roar with laughter seeing as the other candidates were attentive and did not drink anything on live t.v. Anyway...Hilary's results were an utter train wreck...she made Huckabee's poor results look commendable. When we voted on whether or not we thought Hilary did enough to reach out to the youth voters...like 70-80% of us doing the polls voted a resounding "NO." You had to of been there.

It was a live event in which I and others interacted via instant chat, polling, etc...with the actual live events that were occurring in the dialogue. The polls would go up and show the results of our polls/votes/comments etc... While that particular dialogue probably won't be played again, I'm sure they will have more. This wasn't their first one and undoubtedly won't be their last =) It was a pretty neat experience though.
