If she never expressed that she wanted you to be more romantic (cuz that's what it sounds like she's mad about) and then decided to break-up like that, I would say that she's rather immature. She's confused affection with saying "I love you". Maturity teaches you that relationships should evolve at the speed of bonding. Doesn't matter if you've been together for years, if you're both mature about things you won't rush the "I love you" because it entails a greater commitment that is born out of affection and desire to be together. Love and being romantic are not the same things. One begats the other (affection---->love). You can't have love without affection but you CAN have affection without love, IMO. She only said all that because she was hurt. If she wasn't hurt by something you've done (or didn't do) then she wouldn't have responded so harshly. Don't get angered and call her a bitch...calling you names and acting in anger is her only way to vent. Usually the emotions during breakup trials fluctuate from anger to sorrow filled tears and back and forth. Believe it or not, she's probably hurting by this. If you want some advice and are genuinely interested in getting her back or remaining friends with her...I suggest you disarm her anger by shooting at her with calmness, disarm her hurt by shooting at her with sympathy and understanding. I hope you're joking. Because you made me laugh. I'm serious, but I put it in a comical way. To be completely serious about the subject for a moment. Reality_is_a_dream is obviously a child. The fact that the obviously immature girl who wrote that letter still is able to be more grown up than him is a testament to that. He treated this girl poorly and wants us all to laugh along with him at her expense when she is down. He says all he did wrong was treat her like a friend, which shows that he obviously doesn't know how much it hurts to be treated with such a luke-warm attitude by someone you care for. He says now that it doesn't bother him at all that she's mad at him, which makes me wonder what he was even in the relationship for in the first place. He obviously wasn't truly friends with the girl even though thats how he admits treating her, and so we must assume he was lying to her for 6 months for his own reasons; possibly just to be seen having a girlfriend. This opens up the possibility that he's in the closet, or maybe the whole time he was trying to get at her friends through her like he alluded to later on in the thread. All in all, I foresee a string of bad relationships in his future, until the time comes when he learns how to actually treat other people with respect.

I have to admit, Xaqria, you do make a handful of good points. But the puropse of me posting the letter was to "kick her when she was down"? Oh course not! I posted it to get a few laughs, and to make sure I wasn't in denial about this being funny. I feel bad that her view is skewed to this point, that she want's me to tell her I loved her after a short 6 months. Does "Love" devolope after 6 months between two 15 year olds? I think not. I think she needs to "need" less, and accept that not everyone is perfect. And if I was "in the closet", I would have gotten someone that I was seen with; the only time that we were "together" was online and when I was at her friends house (my neighbor). And I was kidding about wanting a shot with them.
