      Wow a lot of this going on. With a lot of people, myself included.
      I don't think it is often a conscious decision either. In fact it almost seems a character trait with some people I know.
      In some cases maybe it is possibly a defense mechanism.

      An Internet Forum is a very good place to see all of these types of responses unfold.

      As a Mod I like rule 16. Vanish evidence and witnesses. lol
