Just because it happens all the time doesn't mean its right. You can use that same argument for downloading movies illegally. It happens all the time so its fine? Then why the debate on it?

I know there are a lot of people who will copy stuff off the internet then past it right onto their own site and act like they created it them self. I know it happens all the time, but its wrong. They didn't put in the work, and so they have no right to claim it as their own.

As for freedom, well freedom doesn't work unless you respect your neighbor. In nearly every argument I will argue for more freedoms. You will never see me promoting freedom to harm or steal from anyone however. No one has the freedom to steal your property and we are talking about intellectual property. Its the difference between being a libertarian or being an anarchist.
