God Did It.

I'm skeptical that any of these claims are real.

But I do have a question. Do you think that, if all life on earth was wiped out and then millions of years later it started up again, it would evolve in pretty much the same manner the second time around?

No I do agree that it was wiped out by God. That is MY beliefe. I think that if it took a million years to get back to this place again that we are at that it would be ironic if we did inevitably fallow the same path. Let me get totally out there for a minute- I was discussing ESP powers with a friend that people like police sensitives use. He wondered how they could know things and I thing that it is like tuning into some kind of signal or transmition or radio wave sort of. A collective contentiousness of sorts and if we have already done this once then in fact the information would already be present even for the future- it is a weird thought.

I didn't say it was plausible I said it was a weird thought- but pretty much out there and not at all grounded. Just one of those funny free floaters that gets out sometimes. Ooops. Anyway I still think that the articles are interesting even if my theories are insane.

Well you said you believe it

that kinda means you think it plausible.

I believe that there was great flood yes, but beyond that the rest is fascinating yet up for discussion to whether or not it has any validity. I simply don't know if it real or a hoax I would like it to be real because I love archeology and it would tear apart our modern theories of evolution and how old we are as a race and that we are the most technologically advanced of all time.

I don't see it as being unlikely that we'd evolve into bi-pedal creatures all over again. And again. And again. I don't think we'd be the most technologically advanced ever, either. Millions of other civilizations out there in the universe, you know? It's a big place.

How can I become part of this collective contentiousness? It sounds intriguing.

Why not? As long as the environment was pretty much the same, the natural progression would be for technology to be pretty much the same as well. Its more than likely that this time around our early technology was even based on what was still left over last time.

I'm pretty certain most crystal skulls have been refuted as fakes. I wouldn't be surprised if many of the others are as well. Still interesting though.

I looked into this. On the one hand, many of them claim to have been dated around the 19th century, meaning they are fakes. On the other, some of the evidence I saw that they put forth was that they showed signs of modern tool marks or modern abrasion techniques, and what it being argued is exactly that the methods may have existed long before we thought they did, so it seems to me that that isn't a very good argument.

Or maybe its proof of time travelers. Stupid time travels went into the past and screwed around, leaving minor evidence of that they were there. A couple of them bringing technology back with them, and acting as gods of their time.

Though some of it brings up interesting questions.

Fair enough. I don't really know much about this, just thought I'd mention it.
