All countries in the "axis of evil" were invaded, but North Korea. Why? Because North Korea threatened. They're doing it for their own safety.

No, Iran was not invaded either. North Korea has nukes, and they don't have the other dozen reasons on their list that were on Iraq's list.

Why do you assume North Korea would not sell their nukes to Al Qaeda?

There is, as I have explained throughout the thread. That does not mean I am claiming North Korea is going to sell nuclear weapons to Al Qaeda. I have given some reasons why they might not.

Because they never really did anything, but have been threatening for ages. North Korea is like Mark75: nobody pays attention to him anymore, but he still posts a joke now and then just so that people don't forget him.

They are evil as sin, are genocidal, and have no alliances to uphold. On top of that, they have nuclear weapons. That is reason for concern.

From the comments you guys have posted, it's a lose-lose situation. Taking aggressive action now makes us "the bad guy". Who knows what happens if we do nothing? I think everybody seems to favor pacifism here.

Nothing, the economy is in trouble because the country is 11 trillion dollars in debt, 10 trillion of that went into Iraq. Korea's missiles can reach about 400 miles, that's not even a tenth of the way to the US. It's not our fight, we're not the world police force. The only countries threatened by N Korea is their immediate neighbours. Vietnam is the largest number of troops in the world, China is number 2, NKorea is number 3, SKorea is #4, and Russia is #5. They are surrounded on all sides by 4 of the 5 biggest militaries in the world. Let them deal with it.
