      Can you influence your night dream by immersing yourself with Photos of the topic you want

      I collect pictures of girls, for example. And also do 3D graphics etc.

      Can you look at your gallery of pictures for a while before sleep and say "i will dream about this". and immerse yourself. If you do that, is it possible to dream about whatever subject those pictures are..

      for example, if you want to be in Hawaii in your dream, look at tons of pics of hawaii and do mantras. does this work?

      yesterday i tried it. too bad i didn't remember most my dream but the part i remembered was about news of comparing small countries to Saudia Arabia. so....nothing related to the pictures i tried to immerse myself with.

      It sounds plausible. We repeat mantras to try and become lucid or remember our dreams. So if we have this image, and constantly think about it as we fall asleep, it would work. It's sort of the VILD technique, I think.

      It's possible, the same way that if I spend a lot of time playing a video game before bed one of my dreams may have components of that game in it. Same with movies you watch, television, books you read, and so on. It just might take a few attempts before the thoughts stick with you and make enough of an impression for them to pop up after your 4 hours of stage one/two and d-wave sleep.

      In a lot of ways this is the whole idea behind reality checks. If you spend enough time thinking about it while awake you increase the chances that you'll think about it while asleep.
