just had several false awakenings, felt like a nightmare, ugh

Anyone else had these lately? I kept waking up but could barely see and had very poor motor control... it took at least 7-8 FAs before I realized I was dreaming, and then a further 5 FAs to finally awaken for real. Ugh. It felt like a nightmare.

That is sad . . . Just try changing your sleeping place or at least sleeping habits . And always lay straight or to right side , never turn to the left side as it cause pressure on your heart .

I also have had experiences that have a negative feel about them in my lucid experiements. They usually are dark or unclear and have an odd feeling associated with them. I would like in the future if this happens again to me to associate this as a dream sign and become lucid(whenever I feel dark and negative do a reality check). After I obtain lucidity I could like call some agels of light or some beings of love or something to help me bring light and love to a dreary dreamscape. Maybe you should try that. Laberge mentioned that one of the positive uses of dreamwork is to integrate ourself with our own monsters, fears etc. Many have reported a feeling of wholeness and wellness when they serve the weaknesses/fears of themself that are externalized in the dreamscape as monsters or challenges. I look forward to trying some of these things and maybe they could help you as well.
