Thread: Recurring dreams.. locked doors and ladders

Hi,
So, I've only shared a few dreams with you. And just this past night a recurring dream happened again.
This dream is me not being able to close a door. Usually I'm running away from a thief, burglar or crazy person trying to kill me. Some others a storm.
I close the door but it comes open again, I try to turn the key and it won't turn or it will turn as the door is open so I have to turn it again and shut the door, to then try and lock it again. I get really nervous and anxious with these dreams.
Sometimes, I even dream the opposite, not being able to open the door, but so many fewer times to this version.
I also have another recurring dream which upsets me a lot.
This would be trying to walk down the stairs... and the steps being too big and kind of slippery, that at some point I just slip and start falling down the stairs.. but not tumble down, I kind of run downwards until I almost crash on the floor.
This dream sometimes happens when I'm climbing up the stairs, and I slip and go down again, the same way as I just mentioned.
It amazed me a couple days ago, when I was watching this movie: Sen to chihiro. An anime movie by the gibli studios. And in one scene, she falls from the stairs in a very similar way that I do in my dreams. The movie is not really new, I just saw it, because I don't really like anime. But a friend told me to watch it, and it's a beautiful movie indeed.

Well, I hope someone out there shares or knows what these dreams might mean.
I'm eager to hear your answers.
