Stats from one normal night help

Not sure if this is the right board.

Last night I took down some times and dreams and in the morning I was confused to my results. Here they are first:

Fell asleep last night at 11pm. Woke up at 12am. Had a dream.
Fell asleep again at 12:30am. Woke up at 1:35am. Had a dream.
Fell asleep again at 1:40am. Woke up at 2:05am. Had a dream.
Fell asleep again at 2:15am. Woke up at 3:55am. Had a dream.
Fell asleep again at 4:00am. Woke up at 5:20. Didn't remember anything.
Fell asleep again at 5:30am. Woke up at 6:30am. Didn't remember anything.
Fell asleep again soon after, woke up for my alarm.

A decent night for dreams, by the morning I only really remembered the first one which was the longest, and each dream got progressively shorter, one after the next. Why did I have my longest (judging by my standards) first and earliest, and gradually lose awareness to even have dreams as the night went on?

And aren't these times different to how a regular REM cycle goes?
Your thoughts please, I really don't know.

      Moved to General Dream Discussion.

It's a tough call where it belongs, but since it doesn't concern lucidity I guess this is the best place.

My guess is that you stopped dreaming at 5 because the sun was already out.

It's winter here, and the sun is barely out when I leave for school at 9. But yeah, I guessed my cycle sort of ended early or something. I just want to know why it is backwards.

Usually I dream after 4am, even if I wake up and go back to sleep, I don't remember anything before that time.

Lol, no, I was born in Australia so I have my flag as Australia, but I live and dream in Ireland.
