Is it normal to have a WILD on your first LD try and to have 2 in the same night?

Yesterday was my first try, and if you saw my other thread, I lay down on my back, tell myself before hand that I will have a Lucid dream, and then I concentrate on the insides of my eyelids, and I stay conscious enough to see that I no longer see black, I see my dream. I then become Lucid. Excited by this, I woke up from my first LD, and didn't move, and I went into sleep paralysis, and I had another, more controllable, longer (but not by much) and I could exert a small amount of mind control on my friend in my Lucid dream.

I was told that this method is much like a WILD, and I was wondering if it is normal for someone, (a 13 year old boy, me) to WILD on their first night and have it happen twice. Please reply with thoughts on this, thanks.

      [1] Read your other post...
[2] Naturally, as you get older, it does get harder to LD, have dream recall, etc. However, you can practice or focus to accomplish any of them.

So being 13, you are at the prime age to have LD and manipulation. If you can harness that, you will be able to LD as you get older with ease. In fact, your subconscious will adapt and you will LD every-time instead of normal dream.

The fact that you were able to do it on your first two attempts makes me jealous, Lol. Esp considering WILD is one of the hardest inductions to do. - It may be since you are younger, you don't have the stress, retained info/memory, mental blocks, deprivation that develop as you get older. - WILD requires a very relaxed and mind to accomplish. - YOU may also possess great imagination and "mind-sight", allowing mental images to come effortlessly, aiding your subconscious.

Either way, if it works for you, then stick with it! You are extremely fortunate to have it come to you this easy and early. ...it is VERY rare for someone to LD on their first attempt, and even more so on there second as-well, all through one of the difficult methods.

No! This is not normal! You are exceptional at this apparently. Good job man. I've been trying to master WILDs for about a month now! Kinda jealous.
Good luck in the future man, it sounds like you might want to look into methods of clarity or dream control. Try using verbal commands and saying something like "Increase dream control now!"

Wow... Well, Thanks, I guess! I have dreams almost every night, *knock on wood* and yeah, not trying to be braggy. I've been scouring this forum for a day, and I have read up a lot on DC, RCs, and how to actually do it. I will hopefully have a stable LD tonight, (fulfill one of my goals) and I will try simple voice commands, and I will go for the simple DreamJournal feat tonight. I don't know how I, now that I know, WILDed on the first night, twice. Thanks for all the help guys! I'm going to be on this forum for a wile hopefully, and before I go to sleep, is there anything I should try or challenge myself to do tonight? Please, anything to do helps. Like any dream I should try to create, if I should try to do telekinesis, or etc. etc. etc. Anything helps! Thanks!

Make sure you read, remember, and practice this: http://www.dreamviews.com/f25/dream-...utorial-95034/

What is your favorite Sci-Fi movie or game? .. I like things that completely defy the real world... Matrix, SuperPowers, Etc... Here are a few things you can try, these are all things I want to do:

      • Fly around in the air looking down at NewYork, seeing the people in the streets below. Stick out my palm/hand, and make people ignite on fire. (Like the game Black and White)

      • Grab an object, teleport into the sky, drop the object, then teleport to the ground and watch it fall to the earth.

      • Run towards a person, and jump into their body (Matrix style)

      • Create duplicates of something, like zombies, and try to take over the whitehouse... Your army of zombies vs us soldiers. (Be a necromancer)

      • Shapeshift

      • Walk up to a building, and punch it so hard the the entire building crumbles to the foor

      • Start a fight with Buzz Lightyear, or DarthVader ...or both

      • Play mind and word games with yourself or other charecters in your dream world. Try to confuse yourself/them.

      • Live in the world of Avatar -or- Tron -or- Alice In Wonderland

      • Teleport into a friends room and poke them while they sleep

      • Join the Justice League and fight crime

Hahahaha, Idk. I am a huge fan of this SuperHero, SciFi movies, and any game that completely defies reality.. ..and dreams do, so just do anything you ever thought "Thats so cool".. If you are a WoW fan (im not) then maybe you want a power that one of those heroes use. Maybe you wanna cause mayhem to a city, with super natural powers. Maybe you want to ride on the back of a tiger and explorer your dream land. Maybe you want to build your own city (like RTS games or SimCity). Perhaps have sex with one or more the hottest people you know/ have seen.

The possibilities are endless, that is what makes LDing so amazing.

Do you have AIM, MSN, Skype? ... It's fun to talk to people about LDing, which in turn also helps improve your LD success rate, oddly enough.

As far as technique goes, it seems like you already have it down. That is if you are actually LDing, and not just dream control... If it is positively LD, then you just need to learn to Stabilize and Enhance... That's all there is to it. - You should start having some real fun.. You will never want to wake up. haha..

Oh, remember, dont let yourself get to excited when you are laying down and/or LDing... Don't do ANYTHING that would change your heartbeat or breathing doing so will trigger an alarm in your subconscious. Your subconscious will then wake you up to investigate why your body had changed...

** Same thing applies if you are having a bad dream, or are stuck in sleep paralysis and want to exit/wake up. Simply hold your breath as long as possible, if you have to, do it to the point where it feels like you are going to pass out. You will be jolted awake. If you hold your breath and dont wake up, hold it as long as you can, let go, get a tiny inhale, then do it again... **
--> This method has gotten me out of countless unwanted sleep paralysis..
