Is it normal to have more than one dream a night?

I haven't been getting lucid at all, and I need to stick with the basics, but my question is it normal to have two or three dreams in a night? IF I become lucid, it's early hours of the morning before I wake up, and on most nights where I don't become lucid, I remember dreaming, and often it seems two very different dreams.

Also, what's a good way to get in better touch with the dream? At times I know I am dreaming, but I don't explore that enough.

      Thanks
Last night I dreamed I ate a ten-pound marshmallow, and when I woke up the pillow was gone.

Haha of course i used to be worried if I dream to much is like a sign i was gunna die or somthing but a lot of people dream a lot dont and some are inbetween but i personaly have 2-3 dreams i can recall most nights good luck and if you fully except your lucid as not reality u can get as in touch as you want. Ever wanted to fly? Shoot fire out your hands? just do somthing that you find fun.

I think it is normal to have more than one dream. I just had a couple of dreams last night and I'm sure most people do too.

As far as getting in touch with your dreams, you could write a dream journal if you don't have on yet or go throughout the day doing reality checks. I have a timer on my watch that tells me when to do reality checks, but it hasn't worked yet. Really anything works so long as it gets you consciously thinking during the day.

You have a dream approximately every 90 minutes you sleep near the end, in REM sleep. REM gets longer and longer as you sleep.

The problem I run in to is my wife wakes me up 2-3 times a night moving around, so I don't think I ever get 7-8 hours of uninterrupted sleep. Think I might start sleeping on the couch

Well you could use this to your advantage and try a WILD. The technique itself is called a WBTB.

My only success was using WBTB, and this might be a good place to start again. Thanks.

When being woken up, you can start where you left off. It's why WBTB works, because you can position yourself close to REM and then WILD or MILD into it.

I write "are you awake?" on my hands in the morning and every time I think the are could be weird I look at my hand and question myself then I do a RC

You should be happy you get woken up. I set an alarm a to go off a few hours after I have been asleep just so I can wake up and go back to bed. This is when I have some of my most vivid dreams
