      Question Dreams Are "Garbled"?

Hi there. I didn't really know what else to title this, so that was all I could come up with.

Anyway, for the past week, my dreams haven't been clear. I remember some of the feelings and whether or not they were "epic" dreams, but I have no clue what they were of. I normally have an average dream recall, and they are always clear, but for the past five days, they've been full of random colors and blotches. The only explanation I can think of is my fish tank's light, the bulb has different settings, and my mother apparently changed the setting.

So, can that light (it's blue) affect my dream sight?

      Thanks, Reamous

The little blobs of light might have little influence, unless you're staring Directly at it.

I think your recall has been going down; It's essential you keep focusing on remembering dreams even if you're experienced at LDing. At least in my case.
When my recall begins to decline, I experience patches of light around the edges of the "Screen" [View] of my dreams.

That's exactly what happened to me the last days of last year. Every single night I'd have dreams that were "garbled," but instead of colors, more like an uncountable number of random events, and I couldn't remember my dreams.
The last 10 nights (Jan.1-10) I've been going to bed an hour earlier, and I have been able to recall 1 (sometimes 2) dreams each night- each vivid, and a couple of lucids.

If possible, you could try what I did (going to bed an hour earlier)- it's worth a shot if your schedule allows it.

      Thanks for the responses.

@ibanezmonster: I would try that, but I am currently up one hour past the normal time I go to bed. I'm trying to see if six-ish hours of sleep will make me feel better in the mornings (read it somewhere, don't ask).

But I'm changing the light color back to white, so maybe that'll have an effect on them. I'll try to remember to post the results on here tomorrow.

I'm thinking it was the light. I changed it last night and my dreams were semi-normal. :/
