      Dreams about speed?

      Hey Dreamviews,

This morning I finally realized what I enjoy the most in dreams: speed. By "speed" I mean, going really fast, feeling the rush of the wind and everything zooming past as you soar over a spectacular landscape. Not only flying, mind you. A while ago I dreamed of running down a tall, steep hill, taking huge leaps and going really fast. And last night I dreamed of speeding down a mountain side with a bycicle, and somehow being able to jump really high with it. The world consisted of very trippy floating isles of land, and I would jump from one to the other, always going fast.

Does anyone else get that feeling?

Totally thought this thread was going to be about the drug.

I love that feeling. It's pretty amazing. Here's an excerpt from my dream journal, the furthest I've pushed it so far:

I started flying forward again, and this time I started thinking to myself that "I am the fastest I could ever be, no one is faster than I am." My speed started increasing faster and faster and faster, and everything in my vision was moving so quickly that it looked like it was just bouncing all around my line of sight. Then finally, reality broke. My perception of my speed passed some kind of barrier, and it was no longer that I was feeling how fast I was going as much as it was that I just was speed... like there was no "normal" speed to compare it to. Very hard to describe. I was hit with the sudden feeling that the entire building map was open to me simultaneously, like I could see around all walls at once. I was still moving, so I was just warping all around the building. I was moving so quickly that my environment was just flashing and warping from one scene to the next. I felt like I was bursting with power but also pushing myself out of control, and then it suddenly faded. I guess I made it too unstable.
That feeling, it essentially was my entire perception... which is really hard to put into words correctly, but a very cool experience.

THANK you, I couln't have put it better myself. There's this feeling of being almost on top of the universe, along with an awesome feeling of euphoria. I don't have these dreams very often but when I do I really enjoy them.

Hahaha and yeah, I realized it did sound like a thread on the drug.
