like real-life except theres no rules?

      Hey!
i created a thread before that was about how vivid a lucid dream could get, check it out if you want to.
anyway i did not get the answers i was looking for ( even though it was very good answers and i learned a lot) so i created this new thread to define my question, im sure everyone who had'nt got an LD yet wondering the same thing.

My question is: You probably sitting on a chair or something, leaning your head against your hand, breathing, blink, scrolling down, hearing the clock goes tic tac, thinking about other things etc etc. while you reading this, you know that you can go outdoors, maybe to the park or somewere else.

this feeling im talking bout' above ( the life ), imagine that and compare the differences between the ''real life feeling'' and the ''lucid dream feeling'' and write down what you think and discuss here below.

      thanks, MAX !

The one huge difference for me is the attention span I have in dreams is very limited. I am probably only able to focus on one or two things at every moment so even if there really are different things going on by the side, I can only vaguely see and remember it. So for all those small details you had mentioned in waking life, I wouldn't take much note of it in dreams. For example if I am running in my dream, I will only notice the thing I'm running towards/away or the reason why I am running but forgot about the weariness of my legs.

But I wouldn't say it is impossible to get a replica feeling as real life.

It is possible to have a vivid enough lucid that it your dream will completely match the real life feeling, and often times at that level it'll actually seem even more vivid, like it's all jumping out at you. It does take practice to reach that point, however. Lower-level lucids will tend to play out as Carrot described, and even in the higher-level ones memory will still be an issue until you've trained it some. However, it is entirely possible to achieve that vividness.
