Thread: Mystery person in My Dreams?

I know people have posted about this before, but I just want closure on the subject:

Since I was young, most of my dreams have had the same person in them. He is tall, pale, has long, black hair, and seems to age along with me. From the beginning, he has been sort of a 'protector' or 'guardian'. I had my most recent dream including him last night...
In this dream, the world was being ravaged by a sort of plague, and people all over my city were packing up their things and loading them into vehicles. The guy I mentioned earlier came in a ship and led me out of the city. The people cheered for us and gladly moved aside so we could leave. From above, I could see the boy I like and his family packing cardboard boxes into their van, and I become very distressed. My protector took me to a mine shaft type place, which was apparently a wormhole for time travel. We went through the corridor, and I browsed the rooms. One room was full of fire and brimstone, and another was a dungeon with a dead man slumped over in the corner. My guardian led me to a room which led into a Victorian era mansion, which was his home, and native time. He showed me to my room, and I hugged him... he ended up kissing me.
This dream went on a bit longer with exploring the streets of this city.
It seems to me that this person in my dreams is growing more and more affectionate toward me each time we meet. It's like it was a job at first, but he decided that he wasn't in it just for the job... I don't know... He's almost a real person to me now.
Can someone help me figure out why this person is always in my dreams?
