The way we perceive time in dreams isn't the same as we do in reality, that's why we can have dreams that feel like a lifetime, and others that don't seem to be more than a few minutes in a single scenario. |

So while I was asleep last night, I had what felt like the longest dream I've ever had. It was quite real too, I remember at one point I had burnt my foot and I could feel the pain as normal as ever. But the reason I bring this up is because this dream session felt like it lasted at least 6 hours if not more. But this is weird because it felt as if it was all just one dream, or that each dream was a continuation of the last? It also bothers me that I met the perfect girl, I truly loved her and when I woke up I was so depressed because it wasn't real. My mind had given me exactly what I wanted and I usually take the much needed peace. But this time I could only wish it was real. :/ |

True. It's just that usually my dreams so easily linked to real-time, and this one seemed to go on for ages. The depression didn't last long it was more of a temporary "wait that wasn't real..." Thank for the reply though. ^.^ |
