      Texting while sleeping

Two months ago, I checked my messages and I found something weird. I texted a friend saying "Nsan kamay mo?" ("Where's your hand?" in english)

It is perfectly spelled and it was sent around 2:30 in the morning. I dont remember anything at all and take note, I am using an iPhone which has a touch screen and I am not used to typing using it's touch keypad. (because my sister just gave this to me few days ago)

      It is really freaky.
I only remembered one thing and i knew I was obly imagining it. Yes I woke up in the middle of the night only to open my curtains and find that cable outside my window to connect to something but I realized Im dreaming but in the morning the curtains were really opened. I really dont remember texting someone. Even in the dream I had.

Also last time I had a dream about Plank (old cartoon from Cartoon Network) and he had an arm and we shook hands. He was outside my window.

You're generally paralyzed while dreaming, so it probably wasn't in your sleep.

What I'm guessing happened is that you woke up in the middle of the night, were still 'half asleep' (figuratively) and thought some dream/thought you awoke from was real. You then texted your friend, because your question made sense in the context of the dream which you believed was real. Everybody wakes up this multiple times per night at the end of their sleep cycles but they don't usually remember.

I agree with Dianeva. You were probably half-asleep/half-awake. I do that too, but mostly minor stuff like turn off the AC, or turn of my alarms (so annoying because I can't wake up fully).

Also, are you referring to Ed, Edd and Eddy? I loved that show. Plank was awesome, hahaha!

P.S. Nandito lang ang kamay ko, pre.

Maybe it's a dream and if I scream, it will burst at the seams.

I didn't remember waking up. I know what you guys mean, I also turn off my alarms without even knowing but when I wake up, I remember that I have dreamed of turning off the alarm, but I promise, and I didn't remember texting somebody. I just remembered that I opened my curtains.. maybe I was 1/4 asleep when I texted my friend? lol what really freaked me out was "Nsan na kamay mo?"(where's your hand) and Plank had an arm and we shook hands. both are related to "Hands" ....

P.S. weeeeeeee Yes I am referring to Ed, Edd, and Eddy. Hahaha at nakakatakot si Plank dahil nakangiti lagi, lalo sa panaginip ko xD but I love that show!

Also I would like to share another. I usualy wake up in the middle of the night. Usually 2-4 am but one time I woke up, my bed was shaking on my foot part. It woke me up but my eyes were only seeing 1/4 of the view because I'm half asleep. Yes indeed it was shaking and even if I closed my eyes I could still feel it. I didn't bother to check the time for it might scare me (say a sharp time like 3:00, 12:00) so I went back to sleep. That morning I asked my mom if there was an earthquake, she replied no.

Ohhh! Hahaha My first guess was an earthquake too, we've been having lots of those recently :3

The shaking thing might be hypnopompic hallucinations, which are hallucinations that we experience while we are waking up. This is the opposite of hypnagogic hallucinations which happen while we are falling asleep. These hallucinations can come in any form – visual, auditory, tactile, etc. Sometimes I have hypnopompic hallucinations where the whole bed shakes, or sinks. Most times I hear noises that aren't there, i.e. bloodcurdling screams, banging on my walls, people whispering my name. They're quite interesting

Maybe it's a dream and if I scream, it will burst at the seams.

Thank you for clearing that up.. I thought I was being visited by a ghost or a soul or something.. there was this one time where I woke up because my cellphone dropped from my side. Then I checked the phone, it was 12:01 am. that sharp. I was so creeped out that I decided to sleep in another room where there are people other than me. I believe in this thing that when I close my window curtains, I experience less weird things. but I love to open the curtains because of the cold wind at night. (I don't have an air conditioned room, that's why)
