after you become more adept at lucid dreaming. it happens on its own. i wake up after every single sleep cycle. it gives you a lot more chances for DEILD and other ways to induce lucid dreams. |

I've been wondering the past days, why I recently for maybe 2-3 weeks ago, started suddenly wake up in middle of night without me trying to do it or using alarm. Not that I think it's bad.. because, it gives me opportunities to practise WBTB without waking up the family (in case they would hear alarm). |

Ooohh okey didn't know that. |

This morning was so weird for me. I usually wake up at 6:45 am for school. This morning I woke up at 3:45; I was going to WBTB but I kept tossing and turning. Thirty minutes later--. Thirty more minutes-- Then I gave up... I went downstairs and called it quits. It was a real shame too; I could feel a lucid dream coming if I could fall back to sleep. I was in the perfect mindset. |

keep trying! if you move a little bit or open your eyes for a second don't worry about it. what you should remember is that you need to stay "aware" or awake in your mind a little bit. perhaps you just let yourself totally fall back asleep without thinking about it, without the thought that you are about to enter a lucid dream? don't get upset, just keep trying. you are very close! |
