Having Cloudy Confusing Dreams. Does smoking Weed have anything to do with this?

I've been having a pretty consistent dreaming issue. I have been having very blurry dreams. In these dreams I am always trying to accomplish a goal, but everything is so blurry (including my thoughts) I always end up forgetting things and have to go back and it's impossible to accomplish the goal.

I've noticed that this happens a lot when I oversleep on weekend. If I sleep past 12:00 it always starts to happen.

I'm also wondering if marijuana has anything to do with it, I've been smoking a lot and going to bed Hi a lot, but that's not the only time I have this issue. I think the reason I ask about the weed is because the sensation I get in these dreams is not unlike being very Hi, it's just more debilitating in the dream

Yeah, I believe smoking marijuana decreases rem sleep and dream clarity, but a dream guide could answer better. welcome to DV

I have noticed the same thing when I sleep a lot. If I sleep for more than 8-10 hours this happens. Its maybe to do with coming from out of such a deep sleep into a light sleep before waking up?

There is an overwhelming agreement that marijuana hinders lucid dreams.

It makes sense that the weed causes it. That being said, if you smoke weed moderately, maybe what, once every two weeks? Would your lucid dreaming still be hindered, or is only when you smoke a lot? (This question isn't for the OP, it's for anyone else, obviously)

From what I have read from some accounts of weed-smoking dreamers, dreams tend to return within a few days of stopping. I'm not 100% sure, of course, I think you would need to ask an expert.
