      Increasing Vividity of Dreams

Hey I already know of a few ways to make my dreams more vivid, (Apple juice, Mantras, waking up after each REM cycle, keeping a dream journal) I am trying to make my dreams as vivid as I possibly can and I wanted to ask you all if you could share how you personally make your dreams more vivid? Or maybe just your nightly dream routine what you do before bed and the times you go to sleep and wake up.

Hmm personally, my dreams are much more vivid when I go to bed when I'm not tired or stressed. So I try to sleep before I even get really sleepy. Also, it's not really a technique but just thought I'd mention it: when I nap, my dreams are so much more vivid.

Maybe it's a dream and if I scream, it will burst at the seams.

If this helps, I try to focus on the really small details when I write in my DJ. I think back to the dream I had, i describe in as much detail as I can the way things looked, felt, or stuff like that. If I spend time doing that on a dream, say where it wasn't too vivid, then my next dream will automatically focus on the details more, until I don't have to pay attention to they and they just come naturally.

I guess I should take more naps x). And also in my dream journal I try to just scribble down the main points so i can get back to dreaming but I guess I should take my time and write down every detail, its more worth while to write down the details than to hurry off to the next dream
