Normally, I wake up at 5:00am to get ready for school. This morning, as well as yesterday, I woke up around 4:30am, before my alarm. I passed both off as my brain just knowing I wake up every morning at 5:00am, so it decided to get me up a little earlier so the alarm doesn't "force" me awake. Yesterday, I sat in bed for the 30 minutes, waiting for it to be 5:00am. Today I tried the same, except I went back to sleep for a few minutes. I went to bed at 10:00pm last night instead of 8:30 or 9:00, so I only got about 6 or 7 hours of sleep. I did have a short dream during the time I slept. I was awoken by my parents' alarm which also goes off at around 5:00am. Does this count as a WILD, because I went back to sleep, even though it was only for a few minutes and it was unintentional? Did I also wake up at 4:30am because my brain "knows" my REM cycle is around that time, which I didn't even know? |
