Not a question about particular dream but can dreams mean something more pls read

      Hi, Im new here,
I am wondering why I have severe bad nightmares. The issue with these is there not in some strange land they are in the room im sleeping in or a room i frequent. One dream I was in my room and theres a mirror on the wall. I had this energy/surge vibrating off me and i was looking in the mirror and i ws bald, the image was vibrating,,,the sensation was like i was trapped in this energy. It was like saying to me (visually) your going to die. Then one dream I was sitting at my actual computer (same room) and this energy pulled me into the computer. I will stop at these. More then interpreting (which i welcome)
Can dreams be warnings or signs i need more of god in my life or in other words..could these not be dreams and some message. I talked with someone who said dreams are a way of stress relief, which i dont think my dreams are tht. One dream i had I was sent to hell and i was pulling children out of hell, it was my job.I havent been able to get help for this or reasonable sleep.thanks for all attn.
Also, are devil dreams just that dreams?? Im not used to dreaming ALL the time like this.

I'dlove to hear any experienced, educated and other members input

It's normal to have weird things happen when looking in mirrors.
Dreams aren't really trying to tell you anything. Instead they are just a "mash up" of all of the thoughts inside your head. If you are thinking about "hell" often then your dreams might involve "hell".
Some think that dreams are the minds way of "organizing" things inside your head.
If you take note of typical themes when you have nightmares you can become lucid easier.

I think some dreams are a random mesh up of things, while others are trying to tell you something, and only you can decide which is which. If a dream is really bothering you and you feel that it is trying to tell you something maybe it is. I think one cannot generalize about all dreams: some help provide stress relief while others exacerbate stress, some are meaningful to us and others are meaningless. My dreams recently have been very meaningful to me, but mostly that's because I have been looking for meaning in them, and sometimes I am not sure whether or not the meaning was there before I self interpreted them, but once I analyzed them I discovered meaning in the combination of dream and self interpretation - introspection. I feel that I have gained a better understanding of myself by looking at me through the creative lens of my own dreams. This helps me but I bet the same technique will not work for everyone: for some people it helps more to accept their dreams as meaningless and move on beyond those dreams. Some dreams are better left uninterpretted I think, but that's up to each dreamer to decide for him- or herself.
