As you get up and move around in the morning and start presenting yourself with more and more waking sensory stimulation, your dreams will become harder and harder to recall. A common technique is to lie still as soon as you wake up, with your eyes shut. Focus your mind on your dreams, any little inkling you can recall, any situation, thought, feeling or emotion related to the dream, and this will often draw out a memory of much more of the dream. That's just one thing you can do, prospective memory works wonders as well (I believe this approach is discussed in EWOLD if I recall correctly). |
