Could use more work
I've been thinking for the past few months or so about dreams. |

I guess this is possible. I read it somewhere, i believe it was on Robert Waggoner's book, where he talks about that. People that quit smoking and other stuff through suggestions inside the lucid dream. |

Of course, it is possible. I am pretty sure that the reason part of the reason why I had a major personality change my freshman year in college had to do not just with college (though that certainly helped) but also with lucid dreaming - I was big into lucid dreaming back then. The way I believed it worked: lucid dream practice made me more self aware, I did not like what I saw, so I changed thoroughly. In that year I changed from being closed minded to open minded, conservative to liberal, huge changes. |

You may say I'm a dreamer.
But I'm not the only one - John Lennon
I would go as far as to say that lucid dreaming can be like accessing one's source code to allow one to reprogram one's personality (though not everyone chooses to use it that way of course). Not sure whether your control panel metaphor is like my source code programming metaphor, I am suspicious of control panels, they remind me of all the trouble I have operating our TV remote controls, so that metaphor does not jive with me. |

The book is called Lucid Dreaming - A Gateway to the Inner Self. I'm not 100% sure that it talks about that subject but i highly recommended it. Excellent book that talks much about every aspect of lucid dreaming. |
