Question Bad dreams/Nightmares every single night.

Recently I have been experiencing nightmares every single night for the past month now; now continuing to get more memorable by the day. Although, due to the nightmares happening every single day so far, I am now not scared of any of them anymore. They have been getting annoyingly long as well, not that its not annoying enough. My most latest dream was a dream that I have had before, as most of my dream usually are. I was going to some type of complex with my family (from further thinking, it might have been some type of resort, but within wall and very bland from the outside) and we parked out front of the main entrance in the handicap parking. We walked in and suddenly my dream shifted to a scene of me in the pool next to another pool separated by a wall. Both pools were filled with a blue substance (like food coloring), but the one to my left separated by the wall had some red a 1/4 to the top of it. The dream had me in here just going swimming for a majority of my dream, which I have no idea why, but it felt like a 12-hour scene. Near the end of it, I got blue coloring from under some sort of desk and started to make the red water blue. There were some other scenes but I cannot remember them (the same pool sequence). After that the start of my dream continued as we were entering the complex, and the inside was mostly gray. We walked to the escalator along with many others, and suddenly I stepped onto it and the whole thing sped up by at least 3 times its normal rate. Only I was affected by it. When I reached the top, which was not far up, I looked down and couldn't find my family (there was virtually nobody down there), and I started to wander along the smaller second story (which was separate to the other side of the second story. I saw the emergency exit which leads to the exit of this complex, but then the scene shifted to a scene at a normal swimming pool (I don't know why), then some guy on the high white chair you see at the beach was asking me if I could get a paper that was floating on the surface of the water of the pool. The paper was in the middle of the pool, so I submerged half my body, and for some reason reached for it as far as I could instead of just walking to it and got all my clothes wet getting it. When I got out, I handed the paper to the man, but noticed that I was barely wet, but not completely dry. The guy was muttering about something that wasn't good, and then (after a minute or so), a giant monster thing burst through the wall of the pool area, and people started to scream. This is where when I had this dream before, it abruptly ended, with my staring into the monster's eyes with fear crawling up me. But that wasn't the case this time. I looked into it's eyes without fear and started to run the other way with people screaming to the top of their lungs all around me. Then it shifted back to me staring at the emergency exit, then people started to scream. I started to run back to the escalator and the moment I stepped onto it, it when basically hyper speed. I staggered off of it, while other had no affect to the sudden discharge of speed, and I sprinted to another escalator for some reason and ran down it step by step so I wouldn't get the hyper speed thing that happened on the other escalator. At this point I started to think. That was when I was looking back at the first floor emergency exit, actually thinking how I was going to find my family in time, but then I remembered that this exit is virtually next to the entrance. I ran through the emergency exit and then the compound exit, then hearing a massive roar with even more screaming from the people. I ran down to the left looking at the handicap parking near the front (exact front of the parking), and kept on running until I was nearly to the regular entrance and could almost see my car. Then the dream stopped as I was waking up. Well, not really stopped, but was half in the dream while it was fading away while I sat up groggily. I tried going back to sleep but couldn't. The dreams all started when a dream catcher (which I didn't think worked) expired it's time. It is strange to me that all of this started when it stopped working technically. I was wondering if there were any way to stop these elongated dreams. Thanks!

I believe troubling dreams are related to issues you have in real life. Given your vivid recall of the dreams, perhaps you can try jotting them down and see if they share any similarities with the issues you are facing in real life.

I used to have annoying reoccurring dreams, they can't be considered nightmares but I was having a lot of distress in the dreams so I didn't like them. I went to find out the meanings of my dream by referring to a dream dictionary and I tried solving them in real life. I stopped having those reoccurring dreams since then. It's like my dreams were signalling me to take note of a problem I was neglecting. Maybe you can try that too.
