      Question Long term reoccurring dreams

Ok, so this is Litltle weird. Have you ever been in a dream and felt the déjà cuz because you've had it before? This has happened lots to me. I always seem to be replaying an old dream about very other long good dream. It's quite weird because in the dream I've know I've done these things before yet it doesn't prompt lucidity for me. And do y'all ever like have a dream that is the same as one you've had like a year or 2 ago?
      Goals-
      1. Have back to back lucid dreams
      2. Figure out my sleep cycles
      3. Fly
      4. Have at least one lucid dream a month

Yes! This happens to me ALL THE TIME. I had a dream where I was a peasant girl during the renaissance and I was rowing down a river when I was 6, 10, 14, and just last year. Even though the setting and the start of the dream were always the same, the DC's that I encountered along the way were never repeated. Sometimes it won't be the same dream, but the same environment. For instance, I've gone to this one mansion at least 3 times and I can recognize it as 'the mansion in the mountains,' but I won't have the same things happen to me as they had happened in the last dream I've had. Sometime's it will be the same dream exactly (like deja vu) but I will know what is going to happen and change my actions to avoid situations that I didn't like previously. Sometimes this is what turns a dream lucid for me, but most of the time I miss out and just go with the flow.

That would be my mansion but don't worry. The house is open, except my private library.

Seriously though I too have had the same things happen. The difference with mine, and this may not fit here, is that my entire dream world is a reality in its own right. I am myself although younger and a budding (as in soon to be signed major label) musician. I could describe it perfectly. There's a central city in a valley below mountains in a circular setup, a country, some further mountains where my "country home" is and a beach where a huge resort is. Think Caprica type design. Lots of concrete and glass. Every time I'm there I know all of the train stops, both regional and city transit and know the. Country as well as the beach. I am younger, into my early 20's and know everyone in that reality.

I've been lurking here a little while and thought I'd chime in. I'll probably make my own post looking for the se experiences when I have a bit more time but I hope this helps.
