Thread: Strange dream last night, wondered if anyone had thoughts, its been in my head all day.

Hey guys, Im new to this I've not really been to sites like this before as I dont usually have dreams strange enough to stick out or that I cant figure out the meanings of my self i.e. trying to climb hills etc but last night I had a bit of a strange one thats left me stumped....

Just to give you a bit of background, I'm 27 male, a bit stressed out from exam season, had a falling out with one of my best friends after telling them i had feelings for them (I don't think this has anything to do with the dream but it is added stress at the moment) I was a committed smoker and cannabis user up until 2 months, I've stayed off the cigarettes but have had a couple of slips up with the cannabis when I've been drunk. I was not using it last night or for a good week before this dream.

It starts out where I'm at a church, from what i can remember it was some kind of gala/funday stalls selling food around and other things. I met one of my good friends there (not the one i mentioned earlier) and i'm not sure what we were doing. We ended up with some kind of skull type statue like a bust but quite grim looking with a open mouth.

Im not sure how but after this we were back at my old flat, I used to sit all my plants on the windowsill, something i took great pride in being a horticulture student. My plants were then all covered in cobwebs, I thought these were spider mites which damage plants. The webs led back to something on the wall. It wasn't a nice thing, it had a bit of an evil feel to it, but this is where the webs were coming from.

With out thinking about it me and my friend started chipping away at this thing and it seemed to come off in layers. At the bottom layer was the skull type thing we had ended up with after the church. When this was removed it opened up some type of area above us like an old crypt. I can remember neither of us wanting to go but knowing one of us had to, my friend went up inside quickly and grabbed something before coming back down, surprisingly it was a device for smoking cannabis which i havnt used for years since I was a kid. After this i woke up.

Ive been thinking about it all day and the best I can come up with is my fear of falling back in to cannabis addiction and feeling trapped. Like the device was trapped in that crypt i was scarred to go it to but i'm really not sure.

Any of you guys got any ideas?
