Hello Community,

I am learning how to lucid dream now and I'm pretty serious about it. I am currently reading Stephen La Berges Exploring the World of Lucid Dreaming. It is crucual to gain a good dream recall to remember lucid dreams. It is recommended to set an alarm clock, because you will awake directly after a REM phase and it is more likely for you to remember the dream.
My Question now is, is this technique just for the beginning, so I will gain a good dream recall faster , or is this technique also supposed to be used when I'm already good ad recalling dreams?
Also I've read, that you forget your first dreams immediately after the first REM phase, when the next phase is already in line. How can you remember lucid dreams if you have achieved them by WILD in the evening when you're going to bed, because aren't they erased as soon as they are over?

My main question is now, how intense will i remember lucid dreams? I had one lucid dream I can remember, and it was great, but I remember it just like i remember a normal dream. I ask this question, because I heard in a video, that lucid dreams are so vivid and intense, that you remember them as if you had experienced the content of the dream just a few days ago.
I remember the lucid dream I had so far (the only one) like any other "normal" dream ..

I hope you can help me with these questions (and excuse my grammatical mistakes, englisch is not my native language)
Thank you
