How to Contact your Over Soul?

It's also called Over Mind or Higher Self. Monroe mentioned some sort of an Octopus thingy that is connected to you and your past lives.

Has anyone made contact with your oversoul before?

^^ If there's such a thing as an Over Soul (which I personally think would be most excellent), you are most likely always in contact with it, because it would be a part of you; in a sense it would be all of You. The trick, I think, is recognizing and appreciating this contact.

How do you tap in on your conscious mind's connection with its Over Soul, then? I currently don't know, but I'm betting that advanced lucid dreaming is a great tool for doing this sort of thing. Why? Because lucid dreaming has the unique ability to unite your self-awareness with unconscious activity, giving you a window into your own mind's global activity that you simply cannot achieve in waking life without spending years in deep mindful meditation. Looking through that window might just give you a glimpse of your Over Soul, which, I'm also betting, won't seem so very "Over" once you encounter it, but quite familiar and very much a reflection of You.

And if it exists, your Over Soul is probably not an octopus thingy that is connected to past lives, though; I'm not sure where Monroe gets that stuff.

There's an internet meme going around which goes into that, it's called opti and i . I am personally not very fond of the text and it provided not much new for me. But it's an interesting description if what I believe is a contact with Oversoul.

I am personally on the fence on this one. The mind is split in a duality of sorts. Often people find that in dreams you can speak to "the dream" and it comes back with an answer. The one doing the answering might be the bigger part of the self, thus be rightfully named the oversoul. You have ur contact right there.

I do believe there is some truth to the octopus thingy that is connected to you and your past lives. Not only past lives also other people. The "octopus" seems to me more of a form of symbolism that we use to envision the mechanism. I never heared of Monroe mention it though. But I haven't fully read his first book. Which was in some regards the most "out-there" compared to his other books, I think.

As for contact. I don't think you need to be dreaming or in deep meditation. A simple awareness and acknowledgement is all it takes, afiak.
