Same girl continues to appear in dreams.

So it's been about a year without much recall for me. Then all of a sudden last night I was aware of a girl in my dream, but that's about it. She appeared a little older than when she appeared last year. Anyone have thoughts as to why I keep seeing her?

It could be a recurring dream character, or your dream guide. The best advice I can give is to just ask them next time, when you are lucid. Or you can use her as your lucidity trigger.

Thanks I'll try it. Next time I'm alone with a girl that looks like her I'll try to remember to do a reality check.

You know, I see a few girls alot in my dreams. I figured out its because I think they're cute and I've been trying to get them in waking life. Often times we see things in our dreams that mean alot to us or things that we want and have a great desire for. Just my guess though.

Sorry if this is a duplicate. I thought my other one posted. Long story short 70% of my dreams take place in a persistent dream world where I'm a bit younger and there's a special girl there. She's a rock for me and seems to show up in more difficult times in my life.
