I really wish I could have, but I haven't because for some strange reason I won't lucid dream now but thinking of her before going to sleep has helped me to lucid better. although once in a dream ( this is hard to explain ) I was dreaming about her then I became lucid because of her but I lost control of my dream body and kinda woke up while still dreaming and another part of my personality that I kinda talk to in reality ( or me thinking and asking myself questions and talking back with complete control with a different mindset to help me understand situations better usually a yin/yang type ) but in this state it functioned on its on it asked me did I love that girl and I said yes then it said don't you want to find her I said yeah more than anything the he said wake up what are you waiting for get up and find her go before you lose her. Then the dream ended but my body would not move for about a minute I was there saying to myself and thinking move.

yea, read my journal entry "The Carbonite Decagon" First one Alice appeared in. I think she may just be my Dream Guide though. Never seen her during Lucidity. Click "Mysl dveře" in my sig to get to my journal.

sure i'll have a look now.
Speaking of which, i've notice, not in lucid dreams that i do see such "dream girl" but i can never see her face to remember!
i notice that all emotions that are associated with infatuation are active and thats all. its really weird :S

Met my dream girl in a dream.

When I was 15 I dreamed I was on a train in some foreign country, it was sunset and I stood up and walked down the aisle, down 3 steps into the next train car, and on my left sitting with her knees up and reading a book I saw the most beautiful girl, she had light skin and a dark complexion, she had her hair in a pony tail and she looked at me so I sat down in the seat in front of her and just as I went to say something I woke up- bummer!

Still looking for mine...I think it would be kinda nice to find the girl of my dreams and fall in love. Upon waking, I would be filled with an interesting mixture of bliss and heartache. I've felt this before, and it really is an amazing feeling.

Yeah, I found mine. Though he shows up in normal dreams, I can actually remember his face and name (which is odd, I usually forget what a DC looks like). I haven't been able to summon him in a LD, but twice he's made me go lucid when I saw him (so, he's made me DILD, I guess?).

It's really strange. I have a boyfriend, we live together and I'm immensely in love with him, yet... when I dream about this dream guy, I also feel that immense bliss/sadness when I wake up. I wonder if he's a past life love or something?

I think you guys might be confusing these people with your Dream Guide. I donno... Eternalstar01's experience sure sounds like a Dream Guide to me.

On that note, I'm not sure why You'd want to fall in love with a dream. It seems to me that it'd make you sad, because you're falling in love with someone that would never exist in the Waking.

Is it possible to have more than one dream guide? Because I've met my dream guide before and she is definitely a she!

It is kinda sad because they don't and never will exist in waking life. I don't obsess over this DC, but he does re-occur frequently. It's not even like it's a monthly re-occurance, it's maybe only a few times a year (that I can recall anyways). But I know it's him. He just shows up, and it's always such a fantastic dream!

Of course! It's absolutely possible to have more than one Dream Guide. Keep in mind that I'm not sure whether this boy of yours is a DG or a persistant DC or something else altogether. It just sounds like a DG to me.

It does sound like something special though. If I were you, I'd try to find out more about him, or whether or not he's aware he's in a dream.

That's a good idea, I never really thought to ask him about his existance (or lack thereof). Then again, I'm really, really horrible with remembering dream conversations Usually when a DC is about to tell me something important that I know I'll want to remember when I wake up, the dream crumbles, and I wake up without even hearing the conversation in the first place

I always ending up waxing poetic and listening to old love songs on these days. Seriously messes with my mind, but truly astounding nonetheless. *sigh*

yea, once it happened on a "Sick" day for me and I had a pretty good day. One of those days where you can do nothing and never be bored. I spent most of my time looking for old Disney pop songs but failed mostly. Still, I did find "Hey, Juliet" and "Gonna Make You Sweat".

sort of, but it was only a dream opinion, if you know what I am talking about. I was a totally different person with different opinions, so in real life, I think she is ugly.

The girl of my dreams? I highly speculate she is my Dream Guide, a blonde young woman about my age that goes by the name Michelle. I've seen her a few times, as a nurse, police officer, and perhaps a couple other things.

      All the best,

Sounds more like the girl of your fantasies! But pretty much the same difference.

I have yet to stabalize a LD pattern. I'm still in the process of learning to recall/induce lucidity so I can't say that I've met my "Dream girl"

There are some things I'd like to address about this subject though:

      1. I think that if I found her, I'd truly love her for the rest of my life. In waking, if I had a girlfriend/wife, I'd still love her just the same. The waking and the dreamstate are two different experiences so, I don't think it'd be like some asshole player type having multiple partners in different area codes/ countries. What if I actually met her in reality, you ask? How would it effect your relationship with your current significant other, you ask?

These questions I don't have an answer to but I guess I'd "cross that bridge when/ if I came to it"

      2. Why can't your "dream girl" also be your DG? It's possible that people in your life can serve mutliple roles in regards to you (Your father might also be your boss and if you screw up somehow, even though he's your father you may still have to recieve punishment because in the secondary relationship the main priority is to treat all of his employees as EMPLOYEES)

Always fight for what you believe in. Don't let anyone tell you that your beliefs are inferior. Have self respect and always embrace your dreams.

i think you're right, a dream girl COULD also be a dream guide

and in response to you're enquiry about a significant other, well all it could really be is a dream but if thats the sensation you want to feel when you dream about your 'dream girl' and you aren't getting that sensation from your significant other, maybe your relationship lacks something that you want or it might not be what your are looking for.

I found my dream boy/girl around 2 years ago. When we first were together it felt strange but soon I knew he was the one but that doesn't mean I never saw his faults and had thought there was someone else out there, either in my dreams or anywhere else. Strangely enough he was never someone I could see myself with, in my dreams my dream boy I had pictured was like totally opposite to him, both physically and mentally. Life does that, most times you don't know what you want or you do and your picky but soon enough you find that things change accordingly. We all have wishes of what we want or need but are never happy with them. I was happy with the boy in my dreams but then soon realized I could never have him because even in reality I would still not see him as 'perfect'.

I find it interesting that several people have mentioned the dream love as most likely being a dream guide. I'm not sure that I agree. To me, a dreamguide is just a visible dream-tangible form of your subconscious. It can help you to become lucid, or it can let you know something important. You may even feel attachment to it, but I don't think that just because you re-experience a feeling of "love" in a lucid dream automatically means that it's a dream guide.

I've had experiences where I was in dreams, both lucid and non where I fell in love for a dream or two. Everything is heightened in a lucid dream for me anyway though.

Interesting stuff :p In my normal dreams I usually find the girl of my dreams as well, multiple times a month and it's always someones different xD Kinda weird that's it's totally random.
I wonder what it would be if I had a lucid dream and spawned 'the girl of my dreams', I wonder who it'll be then :p
