How many times you guys dream ?

Lucid, Non-lucid, vivid, wierd, humanoid bananas
      Everything counts!

How many times you guys dream per week ?

I'm having a hard time to even dream (or remember my dreams).. Its like 2/4 times per week and on that gives me 1/2 LD per month since i've started trying to be lucid x.x

I dream a lot. A LOT. I don't know if I can dream every day, but that's honestly because I haven't really thought about it. I KNOW for a fact that I don't remember them all, tho.

So I started writing them down yesterday, hopefully It'll be easier to remember them. No LD's as of yet, tho.

I had this super vivid dream the other day where I was on a ship and Barcelona's Suarez was trying to sink it. I mean, what the heck, man?!

You mean vampire suarez ? hahaha Suarez sure looks like a villain DC hmm

I've read on an article that we dream on every night, but the problem is that we don't remember all of them in the next morning..
I'm writing on a DJ too, this way i'll remember my dreams, but 2/4 per week - -'
Someday will be 7/7 for sure !

What technique are you using to become lucid ?

Hahaha. While he WAS trying to sink my ship, homeboy kept his fangs to himself.

Yeah, that sounds about right. I think that now that I'm ACTUALLY paying attention them, I'll be able to remember my dreams more often. Are you using an app or an actual journal?

I only really started last night, and I tried using MILD.

I started doing Reality checks every hour yesterday.

I'm using an app called Lucidity and my method is MILD too
i try to ask myself if i am dreaming during my day and pinch my nose trying to breathe, sometimes i make myself aware of my sorroundings and before sleep i say "Tonight i'll pay attention to my dream and reconize it"

The last month i've tried to trick my mind to make guide, not only a DC, but a character that will appear on my dreams with the purpose of make me aware.
Well, the guy on my avatar make his appearance in my last LD asking me "You know what is this ?"
Everytime i've wakeup and returned to my dream (dificult sleep night) he appeared and give me some advices, if i keep him on my dreams then it'll make things easy for me

An average night is about 3-8 non-lucid or semi-lucid dreams. If I'm caught up on sleep and conditions are good they'll be generally all pretty vivid and very "present" feeling and with a lot of detail. Sometimes I just get a bunch of short moments (fragments), but usually each one is a coherent, potentially multi-scene dream. I average about 4 LDs per month, but they actually come in streaks and it can be 2-3 weeks in between bursts of LDs.

Yeah…you can check my DJ and my entries on the "share you dream in one sentence" threads, I try to post summaries there every day. I had a great night two nights ago.

I basically put a big emphasis on recall, it's very important to me, and I reach for dream memories every single time I find myself awake after sleeping. I've been doing this non-stop for going on 2 years now. If you want tons of recall, teach yourself to notice the little wakings in between sleep cycles, and to recall & record at each of those times. I've had nights of 16+ dreams when I did this, about 4 dreams per waking over 4 wakings. But those kind of nights do get tiring after a while, so now I mostly emphasize the later morning wakings for recalling dreams.

A great practice is doing "mental journaling" throughout the night: try to keep a list of all the dreams you've had all through the night, across multiple wakings, and build on to this list with every new waking with new recall.

I wrote up my tips on recall, you can read it here (the link is also in my signature): FryingMan's Dream Recall Tips

Also, work on awareness during the day. The best summary is: "pay attention!". If you pay attention in waking like, you'll start paying attention in dreams, and your recall will be better, and your experience of the dream will be very immediate and "present" and vivid, instead of vague and distant.

Here's my "one sentence summary" thread entry for that big night: http://www.dreamviews.com/general-dr...ml#post2161711

This is a great "pre-DJ" thread to post in. I post my summaries there, then if I feel like it or the dreams were really interesting I click "copy to DJ" and fill in the details of the dreams I recall in more detail.

I usually remember at least one dream every night, I get annoyed whenever I get no recall.

      LOL!!!!!

Man, I hope it happens soon. There are so many adventures I want to go on!

You're an anime/manga guy, I'm a comic book man myself. (DC Comics for the win!) I need to get myself a freaking power ring and become a Green Lantern!

      Hahahaha
One of the very first things i did when i've been lucid was create a Moonlight Greatsword

Well, i have a trick that worked for me. I don't know if it will do the same for you, but you see my avatar picture ?
His name is Zangetsu. A character from a manga i've been reading..
Since my favorite hobbies are Animes and Games i wanted to create a person who appear on my dreams and try to aware me, this manifestation was zangetsu on my second LD.
He keeps asking me "What is this, can you tell me?" and that make me realize and do a RC.

Maybe you can bring supah man to make you aware

just kidding, i didn't choose zangetsu, he just started to appear more and more.
Now, i think was a wise choice from my mind.

Superman IS my all time favorite superhero. haha

HOWEVER- considering how grumpy I am my guide would probably be Batman. "DREAM TO MEEEEEEE!" *he says with Christian Bale's batvoice.*
