      Where should I start?

      Hello!

Its been quite a long time since I last posted here. Because I still haven't considered doing lucid dreaming more often, and my schedule wasn't allowing me to do so. So, now, I had enough of that. Why? I feel lucid dreaming can contribute well to my life, and the kind life style I'm aiming for. Such as, improving the mind, body and spirit.

My question is, where should one start? Right now, I do meditate. Of course, I do not mind starting back from the basic in terms of meditation. And I was wondering if, your diet also plays a role on how often you get dreams, lets say if you eat meats vs vegetables. Does it has, any long term effects?

When I receive the opportunity to go back to vegetarian/fruits, not like I do not eat them now, but I dislike eating meat. So it's in my plan, to go back eating vegetarian. I hope to receive some clarification, or threads I should read. I noticed everything seems to be too crowded, to the point where it becomes difficult to know which articles/thread one should read.

      Thanks for answering my question!

Start by building your awareness of your dreams. Once you're consistently aware of a few dreams a night, then try to remember that you're dreaming while you're dreaming. No need to be indirect!

Your diet doesn't play a role in how often you get dreams. It may play a minor role in how vivid your dreams are, but you'll still dream the same amount.

      Thanks for the response, dolphin!

So in a way in this week, what I should be doing is mainly dream recalls, as in writing dreams down, and of course throughout the day some reality checks, is that correct?

Yes, that's a decent start. Basically you want to start out by giving yourself 3-5+ chances to LD a day rather than 1.

Keep in mind that you can do many reality checks during the day but still forget to do any while you're dreaming. But, you can also remember to do reality checks while you're dreaming without doing any during the day. Because of this, I'm not sure about the effectiveness of doing them during the day. I think reimagining past dreams, only with yourself doing reality checks and becoming lucid, would be more effective in helping you in remembering to do reality checks during your dreams.
