      What would this kind of dreaming be called?

      Not to long ago I had this weird dream and I am not sure if it is what you would call a recurring dream or not. I would keep waking up and falling back asleep to this same dark area, like it was looping. No actions or anything just like a still image. It was very strange. I have OCD and I always have intrusive thoughts and only just recently I started having this happen. What kind of dream would this be classified as and why would it loop?

      Sure LUCID DREAMS are all fun and games until someone loses a third eye.
