Yesterday morning i woke up at 7:30am and stayed awake till about 8:15 before falling back asleep. I had a dream about a random girl that lasted about a day (dream time) and then i woke up and looked at the time, it was 8:25am. So i went back to sleep and had another dream, this time about being chased by a gang down a dimly lit street and this one lasted a couple of hours (dream time again). After i woke from that dream it was 8:40am....

So what i'm asking is, does anyone have a couple of dreams in a row that seem to last for ages but when you wake up you've only been sleeping for a few minutes?[/b]

I've had a dream go over a period of several months during one night's sleep. Was an awesome dream as well... Basically, a catgirl (similar to all the anime versions, except this one looked real) appears naked out of nowhere, shivering in the cold in the back garden to my student accommodation, and I take her in. The dream then covers a bunch of events concerning her falling in love with me, though I take quite a bit of time to realise that I myself also am in love with her.

Cool...

I just found it weird that in the space of about 25 minutes, i had 2 dreams that felt like they lasted for ages and i was only sleeping for a short time.

Yeah... can be strange to get your head around the fact that time in our minds isn't a linear system.

Yeah I have a friend that can make them last years long, and there lucid.

That's pretty impressive. The longest time period I've come across in a dream was the one I mentioned here, and it wasn't a lucid dream.
