I really need someone to tell me what's going on. Last night, I had a dream that I was in a room watching television with my family. We were watching the news and there was a little girl (roughly 10 yrs. old) trapped in a cave-in or something. She had somehow gotten caught waste deep in rubble and could not get out. The people trying to help her get out (some kind of emergency crew) tied a rope around her, under the arms, and had the rope attached to a crane to attempt to pull her out. They started to pull, when my Dad says, "If they keep doing that they're going to tear something off." Just after he said that, the girls upper-body was completely ripped off and the crane threw the body into the air spraying blood everywhere, the camera just zoomed in and showed the body flying through the air spraying the unimaginable amount of blood everywhere. In the dream, I actually felt nausiated and sick. But, the REALLY strange part is this, I have this unshakable feeling that I am not the only one to have this dream, for some reason I KNOW that this was not my dream alone. So, I ask you has anyone heard of this dream before or had this dream before, anything at all!? I've never been on a website like this before, but I can feel that I'm not the only one who had this dream, I can't explain it.

not quite the same dream but i had a dream like it. i was watchin tv on like a magic show and they were cuttin a guy in half. when he was cut in half he sorta got up and started walkin towards us. he like came through the tv and started walkin around in the living room. dunno why but it really hurt but then i woke up.

I had some bloody dreams before, but I don't remember wacthing something on tv that was bloody. It does seems like a dream that would be familar with someone, the idea of it seems that way at least. I'm sure somebody had a dream like that before.

Chances are, somewhere in the civilized world someone has had that exact same dream. Why or what that means I don't know. I would look up the elements in a dream symbols dictionary. You could be showing yourself some personal symbolism to get a message from your subconscious.
I see you haven't specified whether you're male or female. If you're female, it could totally be wacked out re-adjusting hormones. I had the most horrific, graphic, bloody dreams-- would have made Rob Zombie sick-- when I was pregnant.

I haven't had this dream (or if I did, I don't remember it.) Good luck finding out what it means/who else had the dream.

its just a dream, dont freak out, just because its wierd doesnt mean other people had the same dream, I have had many wierd dreams, just not violent

There is a semi-fictional story about something similiar to this. Although she never gets ripped in half...theres a story written about that valconoe eruption that covered that one city, and there was a girl who was trapped in the ground, with only her head (maybe her arms) poking out. They try to pull her out, but they can't because her family and house are holding onto her body underneath the ground, well their dead bodies of course...Anyway she eventually just dies, and seeps into the ground because the onlything keeping her afloat in the ground was a tire that someone had given her, so they could try to keep her alive.

The whole story is actually based on a woman watching a news report where her husband is stationed to broadcast from, and I can't recall, but I think the storry is written from her and her husbands point of view of what is happening. Fairly well known story I think, maybe you've heard it and just remembered it. Of course it wouldn't take a story to create a crazy nightmare.
