      Writing, specifically chat

i was reading a chat room as everyone was talkin in it last night.. i forgot what the room was because it was the first dream of the night. but it seemed important and i told myself i wanted to wake up and tell myself what it was and try to join it in real life. i was hoping the conversation would be the same. i became lucid after that in the next dream.

does anyone have dreams about chat rooms or anything text msging? what if it was an actual conversation i was seeing?

      Hi Achu,

Yep, I've had dreams of being in chat - specifically the old DV chat! It's very common for text and another signage or markings to go missing or get jumbled in dreams. So common in fact, that it is an indicator for dreaming and used as a reality check.

what if it was an actual conversation i was seeing?
Well, if you're into the whole out of body experience thing - could be.

Yes, I talked in MS messanger in a lucid dream with a friend. It was a brilliant conversation, and she gave me links to interesting web sites. In the morning I tried to enter these web sites, but they were different than in the dream.

      Hey there,

Interestingly, writing and reading in dreamchat is a lot more stable for me then reading in books. Writing or reading normally will often end up with me unable to write down what I really want to say, or unable to focus on reading what it says.

I have no such trouble with dreamchat, which seems a lot more stable, more like a conversation really. Although, in dreamchat, I never have to wait for a response while someone else is writing. The response is always immediate

I've never had a DV chat dream, but I've had stupid AIM ones. In one I was IMing this guy, and to make the smilies you had to press your face against the screen. In the other one I was carrying around my "Buddy List" in my pocket, asking people for their screennames. Neither dream was spectacular.

That'd be cool though, if you were seeing a real conversation. I highly doubt it, but still...
