I had one dream kinda like Metroid but I had a tiny afro and was dressed in normal clothes though. It was weird, very weird indeed. I couldn't shoot though and there were aliens and stuff there so I didn't really do much of anything except running and jumping around them and over them.

I've been dreaming about the game Black and White.

I play counterstrike source competitively. Needless to say it has sunk into my subconsciouses. I use my favorite guns to kill in dreams when nesesery.

Ive played rounds where Ive had to plant the bomb and our team was getting dominated. (Before bed had a bad match with another clan)

Some CoD4 creeps in as well. All in all I do tend to have quite violent dreams rather regularly, but they are fun I love the chase.

Another game related dream I had was back when Metal Gear Solid came out on PSOne back in '98 or '99. I remember running around fighting the guards and such, then after a while they began to turn into zombies (for some reason they all turned into the zombie with the black shirt from Resident Evil 2) then I hid under a tank, and they all threw grenades under the tank, then I woke up.

I'm a gamer. My dreams are often heavily influenced by video games.
Last Sunday I fought Sephiroth from Final Fantasy, and I was using the Red Queen sword from Devil May Cry 4.

It was a small part of a much larger dream that focused on me trying to ditch a girl that liked me.

I have an Xbox 360 that runs games. Call of Duty 4 looks amazing on my 360, and you spent $1,100 more dollars than me! So guess what, I'm playing Call of Duty 4 on an HD Monitor that I bought, and I'm still saving $500 dollars more than you.

So, maybe it's me, but having a little bit better graphics for $1,100 dollars... not my thing. No. Srsly.

But you can not deny the a PC has unlimited uses, yet xbox is only gaming (music and dvd). Plus you get to aim with a PC. Shitstirring

I tend to dream about non-existant games, games of my own invention. Sometimes I'll dream about actual games, but never about the ones I'm playing at the moment.

I've had a few game dreams. Although thinking back they are rather fuzzy. Hopefully now i've started a DJ I may actually remember them.

I do remember swinging around as spiderman quite a lot though, and there is a videogame with him in it..

I'd love to have a LD of Devil May Cry though, that really would be awesome.

Well, I was really keen on PES football. I was having a lot of dreams that I was playing football. But that happened many many years ago when I was just stacked on video games...

I don't mean to be offesnive, but if you'r having dreams about video games you should probably take a break =/

We dream about a great number of things, from the most concerning to the least. Countless things we encounter in our lives surface in our dreams. Sure, we tend to dream about what concerns us most more often but the nature of dreams is complex and the reasons behind them are never quite clear.

One doesn't have to play games often at all, for instance. A person could just be very interested in games, in their creative side or in their mechanics and thus intrigued by them, resulting in dreams about the games.

It may not be visible from first glance but the subconscious has its own agenda. Not an independent one but one that functions parallel to our conscious thoughts.

Thank you for your detailed and lucid reply! Yes I do agree that you don't have to be obsessed with video games to dream about them. I guess I meant "if you dream about them constantly," you should probably get your prioties straight =/

I've recently had quite a few dreams about playing Kirby games for my SNES in dreams (I was actually trying to WILD in the dream while playing it, can't believe that didn't tip me off...), and I had one dream last night about playing some crazy 3D RPG. Oh man, that was one cool dream.

If you enjoy the dreams then why change it? I have enjoyed all my game dreams were Im in the action. Only one i didnt like was the one I had last night were I was on my computer playing it and loosing

As for priories, Im on holidays so having fun is my #1 at the moment.

One time i had an awesome dream where it kind of combined all 3 games that i owned for the Xbox 360. First i was just sitting on top of a favela that looked like the map Favela from Modern Warfare 2, then i got a grenade launcher shot at me and i died and i started floating over to a building, then it got all dark and rainy out and i was in a big daddy suit (Bioshock 2). Last i was on a roof watching a band that look kind of like The Beatles play and they were in black and white, that was Rock Band 2. It was probably the coolest dream i have ever had.
