      Fake awaking.

      Can't say i have woken up in a dream then found out I was still asleep but could that cause a lucid?

      You bet it can. It's a good idea to get in the habit of doing reality checks every time you wake up.

      I never remember to. I'm always too busy trying to record my dream. Most of my FAs consist of me scrambling to find my journal, and then wondering why I am having such a hard time writing.

      Yes. I hate FA. Once I went through almost an entire day (at least 6 hours) before anything "weird" happened alerting me to the fact that I was dreaming. Once I realized I was dreaming, I awoke and had the hardest time being convinced that I was actually awake.

      FA really mess with your head. Especially when they happen repeatedly (more than once during a sleep session).
