Question Does anyone else visit the same place in every dream?

I have this twisted version of the places I live and operate in that i go to nearly EVERY night, in fact i could easily map out the roads and buildings (there's even a railway to other places!)
Like there's always something different happening every night and any dreams that take place there are easily remembered and recalled.
It's quite amazing actually, and I love dreaming because of it.
Like (ok I don;t want to break any rules but i'm just putting this bit in) It's almost as if I attain a certain degree of lucidity in them as I know how everything links up and where i'll go next, although the flying dogs still don't seem to bother me XD.

I was just wondering if anyone else experiences this?
Or if anyone can explain it?

      Thanks
Wow, I'm new to this but i knew abouts lucid dreams before...
But there's so much more to it than I thought!

This happens to me quite a bit. If you look at my journal, the last few weeks I've been dreaming about 2 places I used to live. I seem to go through phases like this where I dream about my 'old houses'. Lots of memories (good and bad) for me here so it's very hard to train myself to go elsewhere, I'm curious to see what's next as it's different almost every time.

That's what i love about this place in my mind; even though it's the same twisted place, the events and people in it change each time i enter it. Sometimes i'm dreaming and i come across a place i've "been in" in previous nights and i stop what i'm doing and remember that dream whilst still asleep!
It's wierd yet mind numbingly awesome!

Same here. In fact, I get the impression it's almost like Hollywood movie props - just as movie producers use the same locations and props to save money, it's almost as if the dream makers or whatever use the same places to save money.

If someone has recurring dreams, then there would be a good reason to have the same location for the same dream, but I have had recurring dreams in different places.

I was actually going to start a thread on this, so thanks for doing so.

There is a mall that shows up in my dreams quite often and I know my way around it. There's a Flea Market attached this mall as well. There is also this one swamp that used to show up quite often. I love my dream world.

      Yeah, mines pretty awesome.
It's just annoying how "private' Dreams are. Like I could explain my dreamworld but everyone would form a different image of it in their minds. What we need it something that records our dreams and can play them back. Perfect recall XD

But yeah, I just hope that once I beging lucid dreaming, I can fully explore this place! It's weird how the mind can twist things sometimes tho...

Like one place In my dream is a mix between an indoor water park and a hospital!

I dream about a house that I wa put out of and dream that I still have rights to enter it though I do not. I have to sort through my feelings. I see that it is natural and that I must let go. I would love to eliminate it from my mind. I once dream that in the kitchen of this house I was fighting an imaginery person with a sword and cornered this person and told them to leave and next time I would stick the sword in. I dremt about being in my bedroom of this house and a banana skin was put in my way which I did not stand on.
